        Verdict

        LEMON DROP RED was sent off favourite on his return to action at Lingfield last month but failed to get a clear run until the race was all over. However, he still managed to finish in front of today's rival Looksmart and Ed Dunlop's charge is taken to make amends and land this contest. Last September's Redcar winner Tapis Libre is 3lb higher for today's reappearance but it would be no surprise if Mick Easterby has him ready to strike, while Rational Act looks best of the remainder though he'll need to improve on what he's shown so far to trouble the selection.
