Verdict

Sun Festival has failed to land the odds the last twice and may find one too good again here in the shape of SIR RUMI, who gives us an early indication of the merit of the Wood Ditton form after a finishing a close-up fourth at Newmarket. Stablemate Royal Tribute didn’t pull up any trees on the all-weather last year and Hughie Morrison’s pair are also coming off the back of a break but Roger Varian’s gelding Alhezabr is a full brother to three winners so worth a second look.
