Verdict

Back on ground with cut KENYAN CAT deserves the vote after a fine effort in defeat at Windsor. George Baker's filly has progressed well from a lowly rating and may just need some ease in the ground to show her best. From a handicapping perspective she makes clear appeal off just a one pound higher mark and, kept to this sort of company, she's likely to prove hard to beat. Dean Irracht is respected in his hat-trick bid, having been given a fine ride to score at Redcar, and he's preferred of the remainder ahead of Bollin Freddie who returns from a break and may prefer better ground. Heredias is closely matched with Kenyan Cat and can go well while Mezarat is a fascinating contender for a shrewd yard and needs a market check.
