    Verdict

Alan King's Groove Master makes some sort of appeal given his trainer's comments that the horse shows something at home, but with only a modest debut spin in the book and headgear applied we're keen to look elsewhere. Miss Miracle is a half-sister to Katchit whose flat rating entitles her to respect but she proved very keen at Uttoxeter and needs to learn how to settle, so we'll side with hurdling debutant PALAWI. John Quinn's charge is in fine form having chased home Plan A on the level and, if he translates that ability to this game, he should go close. It's encouraging that Plan A has shown ability over timber himself and with conditions suitable Palawi can follow suit.
