In depth

Verdict

In the hope that he improves in the jumping department DRILL SERGEANT is taken to account for a host of dangers. Donald McCain's charge was smart on the flat and knows what it takes to give weight away successfully. It was disappointing that he couldn't do so at Bangor but that was over 2m4f and he's worth another chance back over the minimum with AP keeping the faith. Brother Bob caught the eye staying on at Huntingdon and would've been of some appeal over further but he may get outpaced and is taken on along with Remember Now, who may do better when handicapping. Stevie Thunder has plenty of ability but only raced once on the flat this year and has a little to prove now his attentions are switched to obstacles, Wild Desert needs to see this out better while Mister Wall Street is exposed and it'll be disappointing if he's good enough.
