A quality handicap hurdle. Gansey has a touch of class about him but may need the run and surely has bigger targets over fences to aim towards while Love Of Tara looks in the handicapper's grip and Mostly Bob might need a stiffer test than this. We'll take a chance on PIPE BANNER, who travelled in the manner of a decent horse when ultimately disappointing on his handicap debut in the spring. Perhaps he'll have strengthened up sufficiently to see his race out now and it's encouraging that he won first-time-out last year. Summer Soul has had a couple of spins on the flat to prime him for this and the horse improved throughout last season, but life will be tougher up another 9lbs and along with Wot Way Chief, up a pound in defeat, he's opposed.
