Verdict

Willard Creek sets the standard though it’s not a particularly high one having returned a beaten favourite on his last couple of outings. A chance is taken GOOD MEASURE (NAP) improves for this further step up in trip in first-time cheekpieces having shown some progress at Thirsk last time and the Haggas yard continues to fire-in the winners. Island Of Skye was still beaten a long way when third at Windsor while the newcomer Salve Japan is worth a second glance.
