        Verdict

        Scudamore won over 1m6f here but has gone close over hurdles and should stay this longer trip. Cloudy Rose went close at Chepstow last time while Mukha Magic has been in good form on the all-weather and can race off a lower mark back on this surface. But AT THE DOUBLE is due to be raised 10lb after opening his account over a shorter trip at Salisbury last week and escapes with a 6lb penalty today. He’ll likely improve again for this extra test of stamina and gets the vote.
