Verdict

The Navigator has won over hurdles since last seen on the Flat. Natchez Trace has won twice on the all-weather this year but is only 1-15 on Turf and carrying a penalty and Gangway is 0-12 on this surface. Balqaa is another still seeking a first win on Turf and he has 5lb extra for scoring at Newcastle while Smiling Jayne has been climbing the weights without winning. SAVROLA was too keen tried over this trip at Newmarket but Andrea Atzeni can drop him in from his high draw here so he gets another chance. Tathbeet is even less exposed and has been gelded since last seen.
