        Verdict

        Show Palace has won three times around here and has scored from higher marks than this so has to be respected. BELLEVARDE just failed to peg back Wrenthorpe on heavy ground here a fortnight ago and though 3lb higher is on the same mark as his last success at Windsor in April. Aperitif finished almost 3l behind Wrenthorpe here earlier and looks held while Red Pike was 5l behind Samovar at Southwell last time though wasn't suited by the surface unlike the winner, who is a specialist there.
