Verdict

The first of five tough handicaps on the card but Bold Runner should go well after scoring over today's trip on the Turf course at Lingfield. Oracle Boy was only a length behind, however, and re-opposes on slightly better terms. Eshtyaaq posted a better effort at Chelmsford last time having slipped down the weights and winning hurdler Song Light is not badly treated as he returns to the Flat. But HURRY HOME POPPA gets another chance after finishing a well-beaten second over 2m here as he finished much closer over track and trip before that and can race off the same mark today.
