        Verdict

        Last year’s runner-up Patrick Sarsfield has yet to reproduce that effort but is preferred to compatriot Cadillac if doing so today. Dubai Honour made a winning trip over to Deauville last time when landing a Group 2 contest for the Haggas yard while Dante runner-up Megallan returned to winning ways at Salisbury and both make more appeal than Lingfield Derby Trial winner Third Realm. Magny Cours beat a subsequent winner in Listed company at Clairefontaine and that looks stronger form than Dawn Intello's defeat of Kenway here but French Derby fourth SAIYDABAD picked-up a Group 3 at the same Longchamp fixture and Jean-Claude Rouget’s colt may not have finished improving yet.
