        Verdict

        Al Qareem won over track and trip when landing a Group 2 contest though Karl Burke’s charge beat the re-opposing Sober by only a neck. The latter and the Prix Foy winner Iresine have a shout but JANNAH FLOWER makes most appeal of the home challenge. Pascal Bary’s filly caught the eye making up lots of late ground to finish second over 1m6f in the Group 1 Prix de Royallieu here on Arc day and she’ll relish this this extra distance. Search For A Song has placed over 1m6f at the Curragh the last twice and finished in front of Princess Zoe on both occasions while Rajinsky won the trial for the Cesarewitch on faster going and Dillian ran well in Listed company at Ascot last month.
