Verdict
Golden Taipan, pretty consistent over fences, has found one too good chasing no less than six times. This is a decent chance to notch a second fencing success but he's taken on with SIRWILLIAMWALLACE, who's possibly not fulfilled expectations but gives the impression he's better than his form figures suggest. The drop in trip should be in his favour and he's worth a shot in a race with question marks against all. This is Amalfi Doug's track but he's disappointed this year and Bellaney Gem has been off since November. Gordon Elliott's Imperial Sachin's hasn't hit any heights over fences but gets weight all round in first-time blinkers and could be anything.
