In depth
Verdict
Tom George saddles two in this with Adrian Heskin partnering Always On The Run, even though he’s hard to win with and probably better over shorter whereas stablemate Kilbree Kid is a course and distance winner. Pantxoa was tailed off behind Mia's Anthem at Aintree last year and his only recent win came in a hunter chase. Irish raiders Russian Regent and Yes Tom aren’t getting any younger and BAILEYS CONCERTO is also in the veteran stage. But the latter was only beaten a neck by Russian Regent in this last year and is 10lb better off so gets the nod. Jovial Joey was quickly pulled up over a shorter trip at Market Rasen after a short break but the return to 3m will suit and he has his ground – only six, he should have more to offer over fences.
