Verdict
Gone Far and Shayadi look to be the two to focus on here, ahead of Liberty Seeker and Tarboush, with our vote going to Shayadi. Now, Gone Far probably came up against a fair novice in First Ballot at Bangor last time and can go well here with Timmy Murphy up and first-time blinkers fitted. However, Shayadi performed well to win on his chasing debut at Sedgefield and, based on the favourable impression he created there, looks the one to beat here. Tarboush jumped well to score at Hereford last time, a quality that should see him competitive here, while Liberty Seeker, a gelding that we thought would benefit from blinkers over hurdles, could well take to this game so is given chances too. Gabla also holds a chance as he might be more at home here after running well in handicaps but, overall, Shayadi is selected in the hope he can confirm the good impression he left at Sedgefield.
