Verdict
His Dream gets a first run over fences having proved hard to place over timber. Southwell winner Brotherly Company couldn’t cope with a 12lb rise at Sedgefield while Costly Dream is still a pound out of the handicap despite picking up a penalty for a surprise victory at Hexham. CALLE MALVA won a maiden hurdle at Hexham last season having come from the point-to-point circuit. He was second at Kelso in March when last seen and the winner of that race advertised the form in emphatic style at Southwell last week so Lucinda Russell’s chasing newcomer looks the one to be on.
