Verdict

Captain Brown has never been straightforward and downed tools early on when making his chasing bow at Uttoxeter. MULLIGAN'S MAN was no match for Monte Cavallo at Bangor but at least jumped a little better than he did at Kempton and he still has a bit of scope. It will be disappointing if he can't win this as hunter chaser Mourne Paddy has a bit to prove at present and Takaatuf tackles fences for the first time, though will enjoy the fast ground. Toledo Gold was well beaten at Carlisle in April but should know more today.
