      Verdict

Shanroe has the form in the book but is penalised accordingly. His experience should prove valuable but he does face a tough task to complete the hat-trick. Three newcomers take the eye, headed by Keen On who represents a yard with an excellent record in such contests, whilst Laurie Come On and La Chanteuse are other newcomers of interest for yards capable of preparing one first time up. Special Brute must be far better than he showed last time as he was promising on debut and anything representing Elliott and Johnson must be taken seriously. A chance is taken though with BIBLICAL. Full of promise on debut, he was desperately disappointing next time when strongly supported and is worth another chance in a first-time hood.
