In depth
Verdict
A couple of interesting newcomers here in Sunhsine King and Tazbar, but on this occasion we will side with experience and plump for Programme Girl. Alan Swinbank's four-year-old couldn't have been any more impressive when staying on well to beat Reel Charmer in a similar race at Bangor last month. This event doesn't look any stronger and this daughter of Definite Article can maintain her unbeaten record. Nicky Richards sends out Sunshine King, a son of King's Theatre who is related to numerous winners on the flat and over jumps. Meanwhile the Keith Revely trained Tazbar is a son of Tiraaz out of a decent enough racemare. The market will no doubt give clues to their relative chances. The pick of the other experienced runners could be Thenford Sir, but Programme Girl looks to have the stronger form and she gets our vote.
