Verdict

FATHER EDWARD has taken his time to get off the mark over timber but did so in stylish fashion last time when sauntering home at Worcester for John Ferguson who is having his usual highly successful summer period. The form of that Worcester race has been franked by success for the runner-up and he could well be a different proposition now he's got his head in front. Solway Dandy has become a standing dish here and is not ground dependent so another solid effort seems assured, whilst Sharp Rise reverts to timber after unseating over fences at Cartmel, prior to which he'd been in impressive winning form and rates the main danger here.
