Separate Shadows has been threatening to win for some time now and it must be frustrating for connections to see their charge continually run his race without being cut any real slack by the assessor. This could well be his day under the improving James Cowley but BARABOY is preferred as he's been in such good form under both codes in recent months and was far from disgraced when upped to Class 4 at Cartmel lately. He's actually been dropped a couple of pounds for that runner-up effort and is taken to return to winning ways back on a more conventional track. Beidh Tine Anseo was beaten out of sight over fences last time and could be interesting returned to timber, whilst Harry's Summer has shown nothing of note but cannot be ignored as part of the Elliott raiding party.
