Verdict

Always Right can see off Fiftyfive Degrees in this Hunters' chase. John Wade's runners in this sphere are always worth a note and the six-year-old has warmed up nicely for this assignment with a facile victory at Hornby Castle over three miles. The hold-up performer should be capable of making it four on the spin here. Fiftyfive Degrees landed a massive on-course gamble at Hexham on heavy ground. He has to give weight all around and could be vulnerable to an improver on this significantly quicker surface. Alexander Zone was something of a surprise victor at Eyton On Severn having shown little under rules in Ireland. Athoss has shown his better form on a softer surface. Charming Knight is sure to be popular with the punters given the presence of Rose Davidson in the saddle. Saddlers' Way and Overlaw look to have a tough ask at these terms. Always Right has proved progressive during the point-to-point season and he can continue onward today.
