Verdict
Ballynure, Snowy and Paddy The Piper are the trio to focus on here with Ballynure taken to complete a hat trick. After a couple of successive wins just over a year ago, Snowy has been winless since but has slipped down the handicap a few pounds and can go well. He should handle the fast ground but is a little one paced. Lightly raced over fences, Paddy The Piper is rated fifteen pounds lower over the bigger obstacles than over hurdles. A winner two outings ago over hurdles, Paddy The Piper can go well, though the fast ground may go against him. The same remark may also apply to Ballynure, whose two emphatic wins in recent starts have come on a testing surface. However, a chance is taken that he is in such good form that Ballynure can maintain the winning thread.
