In depth

Verdict

Okotoks stayed on stoutly to upset a hotpot at Hexham on just his second chasing start and looks to have been coaxed back to something like his best by Fergal O'Brien. He does have to concede 12lb though to HONOURABLE GENT, a far more experienced campaigner over fences whose know-how may just gain the day. The Dobbin charge been in excellent form this season and can make it four on the bounce at a track over which he was successful last time. Endless Credit is a course and distance winner too but is not easy to catch right whilst Old Salt now goes handicap chasing after landing a couple of selling hurdles. King's Wharf has yet to produce his best for his new yard and is best watched unless the market says otherwise.
