In depth
Verdict
Running Moss, who turned in his best performance to date at Kelso, has more to do off this higher mark and is not certain to confirm the form with Jowoody, who will be better suited by this shorter trip. Wherever Jowoody is, Lively Desert will not be far away. The latter, a winner over course and distance, can race off a 9lb lower mark, than when winning here last term and he looks sure to take all the beating. Gayles And Showers, faces his easiest task for a while, but he may need more give underfoot, and there is little to choose between Sleepy River and Chadswell on their Sedgefield running.
