In depth
Verdict
A trappy handicap, with plenty of in form sprinters to choose from. There should be little between last years winner Yorkies Boy, Chookie Heiton, and Grey Eminence, who were in a ruck behind the useful Border Subject at Newmarket. Ellens Lad, who is better over shorter and Ellens Academy, where further behind that day, and the latter who was badly drawn there, can do better here. Grey Eminence could be the one, as he was returning from a long lay off and is sure to strip sharper for the outing.
