In depth

Verdict

A poor turnout for this valuable prize, but this gives L'Oiseau D'Argent, so impressive on his debut, a chance to gain some more experience. He holds some fancy entries and can take this before going on to better things. Imtiyaz has been keeping company with some of the best, without cutting too much ice and this step up in trip, will need to bring about improvement if he is to take a hand in the finish. Windsor maiden winner Nysaean has it all to do.
