In depth

Verdict

Finisk River won four times last year but has been well below par in two runs this summer. Too Friendly and Castel Gandolfo finished 1-2 in this grade at Market Rasen but the latter is now 3lb better off and should turn the tables. WELL PLANTED has developed a real liking for this track and, despite a 5lb rise for his latest success here, should go close again with Liverpool Knight tackling handicap company for the first time over timber after a couple of facile successes at Uttoxeter.
