Verdict

The Irish raiders may dominate this opener getting weight from Road To Gold, who tipped up when favourite at Kelso 10 days ago. TOWNSHEND runs over this trip for the first time since joining Willie Mullins but should have the pace to cope. He was fourth in a hot handicap at Fairyhouse in February and heavily eased when failing to act in headgear at Kempton subsequently. Gordon Elliott's Buyer Beware was second at Thurles before winning at Downpatrick and rates a big danger as he'll enjoy the good ground and his yard won this last year.
