Verdict

Myztique was second in a Grade 3 at Limerick before being pulled up in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse but how she'll handle this drop in distance and much quicker ground is anybody's guess and Gordon Elliott's stable is going through a quiet spell. MARDALE has to concede 6lb but Ryan Day's allowance takes care of most of that and Nicky Richards' mare has shown herself to be useful when on song this season, winning at Hexham and Sedgefield – she finished ahead of Ethelwyn when second at Doncaster last month. Danielle's Journey won at Ayr before running at Cheltenham and can't be dismissed out of hand.
