Verdict
A competitive contest gets proceedings under way and many can be given chances on there best form. However we will take a chance on Darnley who was a fair fourth behind Vandas Choice last time out under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Coulters Candy rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Kidithou but if his best form is on fast ground so if the rain came he would be one to avoid. Catch The Perk is from a yard in form and is worth a cautionary look with Richard Johnson taking the ride. Cook O Hawick is another from a yard in form but this big imposing sort gives the impression he will do better over fences over a longer trip. The remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
