In depth

Verdict

A very tight handicap hurdle rounds off proceedings and many can be given chances on there best form. However we will take a chance on Magic Combination. The gelding from the bang in form Len Lungo yard he beat Cosmic Case on his last run over hurdles and although he is worse off at the weights. He won with plenty in hand on that occasion and he is taken to confirm his superiority over that rival. Cita Verda has been in good form of late and rates the main danger as she goes on any ground but she was very disappointing on the flat last time out and she may be feeling the effects of a long season. Best Wait is another that could go well after a good second behind Dick Turpin but he gave the impression he would be seen to better effect over a longer trip as he could only run on at one pace for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Talarive is another that could go well but he has never won off a mark as high as this before. Rising Generation was a fair second behind Lightening Strikes last time but he needs to improve again to score.
