In depth

Verdict

Monashee would be of clear interest if the vibes were positive but JACKS GREY could prove a tough nut to crack and he's preferred to Call Me Bill. The booking of the Champion Jockey has to go down as a positive for Ian Ferguson's raider but there's plenty to like about his form in any respect. He was asked to make his Rules debut at the Punchestown Festival and was far from disgraced in finishing eighth of twenty three behind Bishopsfurze. He had returned a beaten favourite on his one start between the flags so is clearly deemed to have ability and Jacks Grey may be able to take advantage of this opportunity. Call Me Bill stepped up on his debut form to go close at Sedgefield and should find an ordinary race whilst Monashee hails from a yard that is capable of saddling winners in this sphere. Float My Boat took advantage of his rival's errors to win his only start between the flags and may fare better than he did on debut but the claims of Jacks Grey are readily preferred.
