Having won in a higher grade at Kelso in April, Make It Happen had every chance when running out at the last here last month in a race in which Gentleman James eventually finished second. With a clear round, Lucinda Russell’s charge would be a threat to all. POLITENESS finished five lengths ahead of last year’s winner Green Zone over 2m here last time. Both will be suited by the extra half-mile but they meet on the same terms so there seems no reason for the placings to be reversed and Rose Dobbin’s charge is taken to record a third course victory. Wyfield Rose hasn’t shown any worthwhile form for a while but this is her favourite track and the others are even harder to recommend.
