In depth

Verdict

A fairly competitive heat with Minster York, Sharpastrizam and Damien's Choice all holding claims but preference is for Night Fighter. Richard Guest has made an excellent start to his training career and Night Fighter looks worth a bet to add to the tally. The son of Dashing Blade has faced stiff tasks in valuable handicaps at Cheltenham and Aintree of late but had previously scored convincingly at Doncaster in February and a repeat performance should suffice off a fair mark. Minster York was in excellent form earlier in the season but has had little respite from the handicapper since while recent winners Damien's Choice and No Kidding face no easy task off their revised mark. Sharpastrizam goes well here and shaped promisingly last time so may reward each-way backers.
