In depth

Verdict

Alpha Gold is a bit hit and miss with his fencing and is better than he has shown so far, while Owen's Pet, lightly raced over fences, could well show enough improvement to take a hand, but the vote goes to Creon, from the in form yard of Jonjo O'Neill. Creon who has been running over hurdles without much success, returns to the larger obstacles here where he is far better treated.
