In depth

Verdict

Silver Dollars gets the confident vote here with Topwell and Rothbury rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind The Duke's Speech last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and under conditions that suit he need only run up to that mark to score. Topwell rates the main danger on his best form but he was let down by his jumping last time out and it is hard to know if his confidence will have been effected so he may be best watched. Rothbury is another that could go well on his latest eighth behind Water Taxi but he has already given the impression he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Beautiful Night is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he barley sees out the trip and with this in mind for the winner we return to Silver Dollars who gets a confident vote.
