Verdict
Before Dark, Noir Et Vert and Shady Baron are three against the field in another tight handicap and the vote is given to Before Dark. The selection was a fair sixth in a better race behind In Accord last time out, this looks easier and with the step up in trip also looking to be in his favour he looks the value bet in an open affair,. Noir Et Vert rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Chief Dan George last time. However that was only two days ago and the suspicion is this race may come to quick for him. Shady Baron is game and consistent and is sure to run his race and could improve for the step up in trips he should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Grattan Lodge has dropped to a handy mark and with his yard back in form he could go well at a price but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Before Dark.
