Verdict
Ability-wise, this lot look a mixed bunch. There are three Irish-trained runners with Blake Dean expected to prove the pick despite a shocking effort when favourite at Cartmel earlier this month. Lucinda Russell and Nicky Richards run two and the consistent Miss Joeking looks the pick of the former's pair. But the ground will suit PARC DES PRINCES and, though the top weight doesn't win often, he should be capable of going close back in the right grade. Gold Chain won here in April and is reunited with Harry Challoner for the first time since.
