MAYBERRY can back-up her recent success at the main expense of Love Of Tara, Gan On and Conington. The selection is a likeable filly and she won a bumper in decent style at Fontwell last month. She is sure to have been well-schooled for this her hurdling debut and with conditions to suit she can open her account over timber. Gan On has not been seen out since March, but he posted an improved effort that day to finish second behind Cool Friend at Exeter. That race has not worked out at all well though and on that basis we will pass him over. Conington is having her fifth run here but she still appeared to be a little green when last seen out in February, so it is fair to assume that there might be more to come from her. Love Of Tara won well when upped in trip at Exeter last month and with her yard in such good form she has to hold a realistic chance of going close again. Nicky Henderson's Knar Mardy is the other worth a mention, but in a competitive heat we will return to Mayberry as the pick.
