Verdict
Sossus Vlei ran well enough at Folkestone on Friday when again finding the one too good but that again looks to be the best that his supporters can hope for with Non So looking to hold solid claims and Tidour rated the biggest threat. The selection was much the best of these over hurdles, gaining a rating of 140 at his best, and, having already shown a liking for fences when beating Sossus Vlei over course and distance last month, he is the logical choice to score again. Paul Webber's Tidour was a comfortable winner on his chase debut at Uttoxeter last month and has to be respected but lacks the class of the selection. General and Victory Roll are both worthy of a mention but Non So sets a decent standard and should be tough to beat.
