Verdict
A dire race though something has to prevail and we think SADDLERS MOT is the answer to the puzzle with Lightening Fire and Dolans Bay as the likely dangers. Gary Moore's runners at this grade are always worth more than just a cursory glance in the market and this is very much a case in point this afternoon. A maiden after 13 starts, he had previously been well supported on a foray under similar conditions at Fontwell though patently failed to stay the extended trip. Lightening Fire won unchallenged at Uttoxeter over 2m4f. The second horse home has gone on to frank the form at a similarly lowly level. Jim Best has two runners entered and Dolans Bay could be the pick. He won a hurdle race for George Moore and potentially could be well handicapped these days. Geography also represents the handler and though proven at this grade, his recent efforts have been little to write home about. Moon Melody has a touch of class about him though ran a lifeless race at Hereford over chase fences. Monsieur Georges has no issues in relation to the going and while in receipt of weight, the percentage call is ordinarily that of opposition. A race unlikely to live too long in the memory and Saddlers Mot is put forward to the most minimal of stakes.
