Verdict

KAPPELHOFF can show his younger rivals a clean pair of hooves with Prince Louis and Paradise Expected the very evident dangers. The veteran is not the easiest to keep sound hence why we do not see him quite as often as we could. Soft ground suits and he confirmed himself to be no back number when obliging recently at Fontwell. Prince Louis looks to have finally got his act together and should give a bold account off topweight. His chances hinge on whether his stamina holds out. Paradise Expected has obliged recently in a conditional riders event so does attract a direct penalty. A useful claimer is on board this afternoon. The Hardy Boy is a standing dish around Plumpton so expect him to give another bold account at a track at which he loves. Brushford has dotted up on two recent visits to Fontwell Park and was particularly impressive on the latter occasion when keeping on under severe pressure to land the spoils. Rash Moment is potentially well treated versus his mark at a similar time last year. Hailing from a shrewd yard, a note of his relative position in the market is advised. Six of the seven runners can be given claims on a piecemeal interpretation of their best form but with stamina sapping conditions likely, we are confident that Kappelhoff can oblige again.
