GLIMMER OF LIGHT is preferred to Kappelhoff and Kinkeel. Dr Newland's gelding is now near his pipe and slippers stage of his career but is of interest now tried at this level. The form of his recent run behind Abbey Dore at Hereford looks solid in relation to much of the others on offer. Kappelhoff is a Fontwell Park specialist. The handicapper could have been much tougher for that recent success. Kinkeel stays further than this but he is always dangerous if allowed a soft lead and conditions could be ideal for that style of racing. Littleton Aldor has a recent victory at Fontwell to his credit. He has yet to score off such a high mark. Lord Gunnerslake is exposed as plating class while Space Cowboy was once capable though seems to have badly lost his way. Glimmer Of Light could provide a glimmer of hope for his supporters this afternoon.
