Verdict
Settlement Craic was easily the best of these on the flat and, if translating any of that ability over hurdles, should prove to be too good for his main rivals Kilindini and Gemini Dancer. The last mentioned has shown promise in both bumpers and novice hurdles and has to be respected along with Paul Webber's Huntingdon bumper winner Sonic Sound, who has come up against useful novices in two starts over hurdles thus far. Lizarazu lost his way on the level but Charlie Egerton is always a trainer to be feared so the son of Second Set cannot be ruled out entirely. Cappanrush has equipped himself with credit in bumpers and is another to consider although a bigger threat is likely to come from Kilindini, who has been placed in both starts over hurdles so far. Settlement Craic, a relatively unexposed decent middle distance handicapper on the flat, looks the ideal type to go hurdling though and provided that he jumps well enough should be too classy for these.
