In depth
Verdict
Mrs Be has an obvious chance to gain an overdue first success and is taken to open her account at the main expense of Taffy and Monsieur Rose. The selection ran well without winning in decent hunter chases last year before putting up a career best effort when third behind Spot Thedifference at this year's Cheltenham Festival. The nine-year-old has twice been placed since then but it will be a surprise if she does not prove to be too good for her rivals today and is impossible to oppose. Winning pointer Waynesworld needs to improve to trouble the judge and of more interest may be Nick Gifford's Monsieur Rose, who is less exposed than some of these and should appreciate the test of stamina. Indian Squaw has shown signs of ability and is another to consider, although a bigger threat is likely to come from the John Manners-trained Taffy, who has been running well in point-to-point company. Mrs Be is the class act of the race though and should be able to open her account.
