Verdict

A race little better than plating class and DOCTORED is worth a punt at the expense of Celebrity Call and Irish Toast. The selection had shown form on a decent surface on the level when trained by David Evans and while his latest runs have obtained on a faster surface, we will chance that the return to better conditions might assist. Celebrity Call was beaten when capsizing at Towcester. That said, he has solid course form in the context of this race so should not be too readily dismissed. Irish Toast has shown little in Britain but on a first run in handicap company, he is monitored in the market. Job One is bred to appreciate today's going and it is interesting that connections have given up the idea of a chasing career. Supreme Team gets the trip though his win ratio says it all. Domenico enjoys a rare away day from Huntingdon though it is almost two years since he got his head infront. Knock Em Dead was beaten in a seller last time out but the winner of that contest obliged handsomely on Thursday night. A poor race to begin proceedings and Doctored can only be put forward to the most minimum of stakes.
