WADE FARM BILLY is the best option with Rampant Ronnie and Shanafarahan others to make appeal. The selection is rated 115 by the BHA Assessor. A recent second at Wincanton, he is proven on the going and should prove a tough nut to crack. Rampant Ronnie was outclassed at Ludlow. This is probably an easier assignment and his place claims are obvious. Shanafarahan won three races on artificial surfaces during the spring. He is clearly better than his last appearance at Kempton suggests. Bridge Of Fermoy looks to have lost his way on the level so the hurdles appear something of a last resort. Jeczimen was a winner of an Austrian Group 1 on the flat but there has been nothing of note since he joined the Nick Gifford stable. Oberlin was a modest stayer on the flat for Tom Keddy and today represents a debut for Michael Wigham. Venir Rouge may be best watched after a long absence from either code of racing. Miss Cruise Control won a seller at Catterick on the flat for John Best and has been well turned over on two subsequent visits to the racecourse since. Wade Farm Billy appears to have been found an obvious opportunity.
