In depth

Verdict

Majestic Moonbeam gets the verdict in this decent handicap chase, Mon Mome and Infrasonique are put forward as the main dangers. Jonjo O'Neill's seven-year-old returned after a year's holiday with a very good effort at Folkestone, chasing home Muttley Maguire. That run should have blown away the cobwebs and if he doesn't bounce he should go very close today. Mon Mome has been running well for his in form yard and although he may now be in the handicappers grip he should still be involved in the finish. Infrasonique should be spot on following two promising efforts this season and looks on a very decent mark, he could be worth an each-way saver. Bar Gayne gets in here with a very low weight and could prove best of the others, but our idea of the winner is Majestic Moonbeam.
